She passed away on Thursday 20th April 2023 at the age of 46 surrounded by her family. She was announced dead on her caring bridge page saying “It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that our too-brief encounter with the brilliant light we called Ambra ended today”. The exact cause of what led to her death has not been known.

She was born in Belleville, Illinois on the 11th of December in 1976. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications from Butler University, and then she got her Master of Arts in Communications from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Both degrees are in the field of communications. She spent four years, from 1999 to 2003, working as an External Communications Coordinator at Memorial Medical Center in the Springfield, Illinois Area.
During that time, she was responsible for all aspects of external communications, including media relations, communication plans and strategies, and project management. Additionally, she directed a new advertising and public relations campaign for a holiday fundraiser, which led to a 20% increase in attendance compared to the previous year. After that, she worked as a communications associate with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Peoria between the years 2003 and 2007.
Ambra Haake Career
After working for the RLI Insurance Company as a Marketing Communications Analyst for a period of seven years, beginning in 2007, and ending in 2014, she was elevated to the post of an organizational Development Specialist, which she began in 2014 and held until 2017. She then left the company in 2017 to pursue other professional opportunities. She worked with Caterpillar Inc. as a Change Management Coach – Global Finance Services for a year and a half, during which time she coached global finance leaders and business partners on strategic and operational aspects of change management.
She worked as an Account Executive at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was responsible for the development and support of point-of-sale Equipment Protection Plan (EPP) solutions for the Earthmoving and Excavation product groups manufactured by Caterpillar.
