According to buzzfeednews.com, Officials say Amara Marluke, 19, was discovered dead near the college campus early Monday. After being contacted by law authorities, 20-year-old Keenan Harpole turned himself in and was brought into jail on a family property in Bend, Oregon later that day.
Marluke died of gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner, and her death was deemed a homicide. Second-degree murder and unauthorized use of a weapon have been charged against Harpole. Both charges are related to domestic abuse, according to jail records.
