Amanda Harman Death – According to the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation is now being conducted after the body of a lady was discovered close to Cherry Heights. Amanda Harman’s body was discovered on the morning of March 18 close to Cherry Heights, which is located just outside of The Dalles. According to the statements made by the sheriff’s office, she was shot and died on the evening of March 17th.

The cause of Harman’s death was determined to be a homicide after an autopsy was performed on March 20. At this time, the sheriff’s office has not disclosed any other information on the incident. The inquiry is still going on, and there have been no arrests made so far. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of a 24-year-old man who was found dead over the weekend in The Dalles, according to the police. The body of Bernardino Peral Sanchez was discovered on Sunday morning about ten o’clock in a residence located in the 2400 block of East 10th Street in The Dalles, according to the police. Sanchez is believed to have died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head, according to the preliminary investigation that was conducted by the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office; however, an autopsy has been set for today in order to identify the actual cause of death.
Jamia Long, age 18, and Selu King, age 20, both of The Dalles, have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the crime. Long is charged with manslaughter in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, and assault in the third degree. King is being charged with burglary in the first degree as well as assault in the third degree. The Northern Oregon Regional Prison Center was where both of the men were being housed at the time. The authorities did not provide any information regarding the criminal act, and the inquiry is still ongoing. At one o’clock today, the defendants are set to make their initial appearance in the Wasco County Circuit Court through video arraignment.
