According to pianistmagazine.com, Toradze can be seen with the orchestra performing the final movement of Shostakovich’s Second Piano Concerto, conducted by Maestro Salvador Brotons.
As a child, the pianist attended Tbilisi’s central music school before completing his studies at Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He placed second in the Fifth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1977, at the age of 25.
