Alexa Bartell Death – Law enforcement is looking for the people who killed someone in Jefferson County overnight and threw rocks at cars in a number of separate events. Alexa Bartell, 20, of Arvada, was driving north near the 10600 block of Indiana Street at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Bartell’s car was hit with a big rock by people who may have been in a car or on the side of the road. She died when that rock hit her.
What happened to Alexa Bartell?
Bartell was talking to a friend on the phone when she was hit, and the phone went dead. Her friend found Bartell’s phone number and drove to Indiana Street, where she found Bartell dead in her car in a field. The car had gone off the road and into a field. A representative for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jacki Kelley, said, “The friend actually drove to the place where Alexa’s phone was said to be.
Down in the field, that’s where she found Alexa’s car.” Just hours after saying they were looking for a light-colored 4-door 2003-2005 Dodge Ram, investigators stated that they had found the truck and its owner and that neither had anything to do with Bartell’s death or the ongoing investigation.
Police looking for suspect
The car’s tire marks show where it went off the road. A sign of proof was put next to a rock. Kelley said these rocks are found inside the victims’ cars after they broke through the windshields. Their daughter died. I can tell you that Jefferson County has spent a lot of time and money on this. Bartell’s death is thought to be related to a number of other things that happened in the area.
Investigators need help from the public to find and name the people they think are responsible for these crimes. Call the JCSO tip line at 303-271-5612 if you were in any of these places and saw anything about the suspect car or the suspects who may have been inside. Every bit of information is important. We want to hear from you if you have security cams at home or in your car that might have caught the car as it drove by.
Alexa Bartell’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
