Death: Couples Killed In A Car Accident  – A police chase in Rialto concluded in the death of a young engaged couple and the arrest of the driver, according to a news release from the Rialto Police Department. The pursuit of a gray 2014 Nissan Maxima began in Colton, but shortly before 1 a.m., the automobile entered Rialto city boundaries, where RPD officers discovered it “driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Linden Ave. and Randall Ave.,” according to the release.

According to ktla.com, in the pursuit, the Maxima blew a red light at Cedar and Randall avenues, colliding with a silver 2019 Nissan Sentra before crashing into a home in the 1200 block of West Randall Avenue, according to police.

The two occupants of the Sentra, 31-year-old Aaron McDonald of Bloomington and 30-year-old Irene Jaramillo of Rialto, were transferred to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and died as a consequence of their injuries, according to authorities.

The Maxima’s driver, Alejandro Canchola, 24, of San Bernardino, and his passenger, Jose Castrocota, 21, of San Bernardino, were both brought to local hospitals with moderate injuries, according to police.
