AGT Howie Mandel Missing – Yesterday, on the 12th of July 2022, viewers of “America’s Got Talent” rushed to their different social media channels to express their confusion at the absence of judge Howie Mandel from the program. Viewers are now perplexed as to why, after a month had passed, Mandel was once again absent from the program.
Why isn’t Howie Mandel on AGT?
Fans were very worried about the sudden missing of the AMERICA’S Got Talent judge Howie Mandel who went missing during last night episode. One of the Fans wrote on Twitter: “Howie, are you gone for some of the tapings? You’re not in Urban Crews audition.” The audience was not given a further explanation, but after the show aired on June 14, fans took to Twitter expressing concern for Mandel’s absence. The show opened with host Terry Crews responding to the audience: “Howie Mandel isn’t feeling good, so he won’t be here tonight.” Mandel did respond to the fan saying simply: “I got Covid.”
After the success of his show Deal or No Deal, Howie Mandel joined the judging panel of America’s Got Talent in 2010. Season 17 premiered after more than a decade, but there was one major difference: Mandel wasn’t sitting in the judge’s chair. Auditionees and viewers were instead informed that the criteria would be changed such that two “yes” votes would be enough to move on and three “red buzzers” would eliminate anyone.
Why is Howie Mandel missing tonight’s AGT?
Before the first episode of America’s Got Talent airs, the subsequent episodes are already recorded. Mandel has been in episodes during the past few weeks, but he wasn’t a judge for the July 12 broadcast. This is because the episodes of AGT that don’t feature Mandel were taped during the week that he was off sick.
On Twitter, Mandel wrote, “Sorry #FANdels, I’m not on @AGT tonight.” Mandel, who was unable to be on the show, nonetheless kept up with the auditions via Twitter, where he praised many of the participants. “I wish I could have been there to see #TravisJapan,” he wrote, and in another, he posted a photo of the AGT host and cast of judges without him with the caption, “Where’s Howie?”
