Adreian Payne Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – Adreian Payne, a former Michigan State basketball player, has died, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The former Spartan was a first-round choice of the Atlanta Hawks in the 2014 NBA draft after four seasons with the Spartans. He was 31 at the time.
Payne joined the MSU program in 2010 and quickly established himself as a valuable contributor as his points increased each season. Payne averaged 16 points and seven rebounds as a senior, helping Michigan State reach the Elite Eight against UConn.
Payne spent time in both the NBA and the NBA’s G-League after his NBA debut before heading overseas in 2018. Payne went on to play for Panthiakos, a Greek League basketball team, where he won the GBL championship in 2018 and the Greek Basketball Cup in 2019.
