Response from Adele on Engagement Rumour and Las Vegas’ Residency Cancellation
Adele went into hiding after canceling her residency in Las Vegas in January 2022, the night before the show was scheduled to begin; however, the reasoning behind her decision was sound. Adele referred to the last-minute withdrawal from the residency as the “worst moment” in her career and described the cancellation as “devastating.” She also called it the “worst moment” in her career.

She told Elle magazine that the show “lacked intimacy” and “there was no soul in it,” adding that the show was disconnected from her and her band. “There was no soul in it,” she said.
However, after being forced to retreat, the singer, who was then 34 years old, withdrew from public view in the hopes of mounting an even more successful comeback. Now that she’s back, she brought back all of the confidence to the stellar voice that millions of people all over the world adore by performing at the BST Hyde Park Festival in June. This festival was held in London.
Soon after that, she would go on to give a performance at the BRIT Awards in London, where she would sing a song from her most recent album, titled 30: I Drink Wine. Adele stated in an interview with Elle Magazine that after her performance on that night, “It felt strange receiving so much love when I’d let people down.” She was surprised that no one in the audience booed during her performance.
However, the singer stated that despite her initial embarrassment about canceling the show, the experience helped her build her confidence because “it was a very brave thing to do” as she had been willing to stand by her “artistic needs.” This was despite the fact that she had been embarrassed about canceling the show in the first place.
But the winner of 15 Grammy Awards is back, and this time, the residency in Las Vegas will begin on November 23, 2022. It will continue for the following four months, all the way through March 25, 2023.
The two have been working together to renovate their new home in order to make enough room for Adele’s son Angelo, who is nine years old, as well as Paul’s three children. In an interview with Elle, the singer stated that despite the fact that she was open to getting married again, she was not currently married and that the ring that she wore on her finger was not an engagement ring but rather a symbol of her love for jewelry instead. Nevertheless, at this very moment, the upcoming performance in Las Vegas is the only thing on the mind of the singer-songwriter.
After having known each other for some time, Adele and Rich Paul started dating the following year, in 2021. Forbes has recognized Paul as one of the most influential sporting agents in the world, making him a force to be reckoned with in his own right. The two have become close through their shared passion for the game of basketball, and the sports agent is said to be “obsessed” with the singer, at least according to what she said to Elle Magazine.
