Adam Dealan-de Death – Adam Dealan-de has passed away suddenly after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was confirmed dead on Wednesday, the 29th of March 2023. The news of his death has come as come as shock to many of his friends and community members. He died at the age of 48. He was announced dead through a social media post by Adam’s Bagels. “Adam’s Bagels is closed indefinitely. Early this morning, while baking, Adam Dealan-de experienced a sudden cardiac event. We lost him despite the incredible efforts of the EMTs who responded. His friends and family are grieving, and we appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.”
Who was Adam Dealan-de?
Adam Dealan-de was the owner of Adam’s Bagels, a Bagel product company in Olympia, Washington. He was known to have a big and joyous heart that was willing to do everything and gave out sooner than any of us would have liked or expected. He was a dedicated father, dancer, podcaster, creative, and community organizer. He was a very hardworking and industrious man.
What happened to Adam Dealan-de?
Through some serendipitous events, a few of us friends (including Spencer!) ended up in his business kitchen, with the intent to clean up for his family. We weren’t sure what we would find. There was a large batch of dough all ready to go. He had seasoned water boiling and the oven preheated. So we rolled up our sleeves, put on some music, and made Adam’s last batch of bagels together. They weren’t as pretty as he made them, but they were filled with much love and more than a little heartache. We felt a sacred calling in doing this work together. It felt good to finish it up for him and share his work with others.
