Accident: 23-year-old dies after a motorcycle crash on Route 100 in Severn – A Brooklyn Park man was pronounced dead Tuesday night after being injured in a crash on Route 100 in Severn, where police say he lost control of his motorbike.
According to capitalgazette.com, a news release from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Lewis Hill, 23, of Southerly Drive, was confirmed dead after a single-vehicle incident on Tuesday that blocked down a section of the roadway for almost three hours.
Hill had failed to stay in his lane while driving through a curve in the road, according to police. Hill was driving an unregistered 2009 Yamaha motorbike “at a high rate of speed” when he drove toward the shoulder and lost control of the bike, according to investigators, who arrived at 7 p.m.
