“It is with great sadness that I share the news that Dave A Paxton has gone home to be with the Lord. Dave was my youth pastor, a gifted Bible teacher, an encourager and friend. He has often said that because we were his first youth group we were the ones he made all his first mistakes on. I think I’m safe in saying that the good he did for us kids far outweighed anything negative. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from him, worship with him, laugh with him, and as an adult swap stories about our experiences working in ministry. I’m also grateful that I had a chance to tell him how much I appreciated the impact he and Sharon made on me…”
