A Teenager Shot During A Party At Short-Term Rental In Midtown: Investigators from the Metro Nashville Police Department are looking into an early-morning gunshot on Wednesday that seriously injured an adolescent. Authorities at the site said that during a party at 2312 Elliston Place, a short-term rental home, with over 25 guests, someone began firing.
When MNPD units got to the scene just after midnight, they discovered an adolescent with gunshot wounds. The adolescent who had been hurt was taken in serious condition to the hospital. According to detectives, the party could have included a few recent high school grads.
The event is still under investigation. There are no suspects being held.
