SPARTANBURG BOUNDARY, South Carolina The Tyger River Correctional Institution was the location of the death of an inmate on Sunday morning.
In accordance with the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, Terry Moore, who was 63 years old at the time of his death, was pronounced dead. Prior to his passing, he had been receiving treatment at the prison for a medical problem.
According to the findings of the coroner’s office, there were no indications of any form of mistreatment or abuse found on Moore’s body during their examination.
On Monday, Moore is scheduled to undergo a forensic examination. During this time of loss and grief, we ask that you please remember the family of Mr. Moore in your thoughts and prayers,” the coroner’s office wrote. “We ask that you please remember these things.”
