2 People Critically Injured in Car Accident, International Falls: Following a single vehicle accident on Tuesday night, two persons are hospitalized with potentially fatal injuries.
The Alfa SUV was heading east on Highway 11 close to MP209 when it lost control on a turn, collided with a pontoon trailer, and then rolled into a tree, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The driver is Kaylee Rae Scholler, an 18-year-old from International Falls. The passenger is International Falls resident Gracie Della Bowles, 20.
The accident occurred about 6:00 p.m. Bowles and Scholler were sent to St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. At the moment of the collision, both were fastened with seatbelts.
