18-year-old man killed in Menasha car accident

On State 441 in Menasha, an 18-year-old man is killed after being hit by an automobile.

On Thursday, an 18-year-old Menasha man died after being struck by a car while walking along State 441. The driver, a 22-year-old Little Chute man was not hurt in any way, and also he complied with authorities.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident happened just before 3 a.m. on southbound State 441 at South Oneida Street. The 22-year-old was driving southbound when he struck the victim who was walking northbound.

The pedestrian was transferred to Appleton’s Ascension Northeast Wisconsin St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he sadly died.

Information on whether the driver is going to be charged has not been released yet.
