According to preliminary police accounts, an elderly woman attempting to parallel park her vehicle accelerated and crashed into an outdoor dining area in Miami Beach, Florida, killing one person and injuring numerous others. “Unfortunately, one of the victims who was transported died at the hospital,” said the police.
At about some minutes after 6 p.m. the city’s police and fire departments responded to a crash at pizza eatery Call Me Gaby, where an elderly woman damaged numerous tables in the restaurant’s outdoor area after accelerating her vehicle while attempting to parallel park.
Seven people were sent to the hospital, and Washington Avenue was stopped between South Pointe Drive and 1st Street as police investigated the accident.

The names of the vehicle’s driver and the victims have not been revealed by the police. Other information about legal charges have not been disclosed.
