1 dead in Fluvanna County plane crash, police say: According to the Virginia State Police (VSP), a collision involving an aircraft that took place early on Sunday morning has resulted in the death of one individual.
At around nine minutes before the hour, the authorities were made aware of reports of an aircraft accident that occurred in Fluvanna County, as stated in a press announcement that was published by VSP. Debris from a small private plane was found in a wooded area in the neighborhood of the 200 block of Miles Jackson Road in Palmyra. The plane was found in the vicinity of the location.
The force of the impact caused by the accident in which the plane was engaged caused a portion of the aircraft to catch fire. Authorities have not yet completed their investigation into the crash. There has been communication between the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration over the incident, as stated by VSP.
