1 dead, and 2 injured in Alexandria, Virginia 5-car crash accident

A fatal 5-vehicle crash that occurred in Alexandria, Virginia, has killed one person and left two seriously injured. According to reports received, the accident caused Duke Street in Alexandria to be shut down for about eight hours.

According to authorities, five automobiles were involved in the incident shortly before midnight, with one person died, one severely injured, another seriously injured, and two others suffering minor injuries.

Duke Street between Quaker Lane and Roth Street, near the Alexandria Commons shopping mall, was reopened around 8:30 a.m., according to Alexandria police.
