Centra Lynchburg General Hospital Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the vicinity of Centra Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia following a report of an active shooter Tuesday. According to reports, heavy police have been reported at the hospital area which is located on 1901 Tate Springs Rd, Lynchburg, VA. According to reports, a person has been taken into custody following the ongoing investigations. Law enforcement agencies did not immediately disclose if any shots were fired during the investigation.
The Centra Lynchburg General Hospital was placed on an immediate lockdown as officers arrived at the location for investigation. Everyone is urged to avoid the area until it is deemed safe for the public. This is an active investigation.

Sunday night’s shooting in Peoria close to the intersection of El Mirage Road and Vistancia Boulevard resulted in the death of a man in his 20s. Officials said that five males came together in a vehicle at a convenience shop in the vicinity when three guys, including the victim, exited the vehicle. The victim was reportedly one of the individuals who exited the vehicle. At that point, a fight broke out amongst the males, and one of them ended up shooting the victim. After that, the four men made their getaway in a Toyota Sequoia that was dark blue in color and has since been found.
According to the authorities, two guys have been taken into custody at this time. The hunt for 19-year-old Sir Antoine Williams continues. Williams is a Black male who is described as being 6’3″ tall, weighing 162 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The police have been looking for him since he went missing. In addition to that, Williams has the word “sir” tattooed across the back of his neck. Williams is known to carry a weapon and should be avoided.
If anyone comes across Williams, they are instructed not to make any attempts to get in touch with him and instead to immediately dial 911. Both of these numbers can be found in the footnotes. According to the police, they are not looking for any further suspects.
